图式熟悉程度及其对英语学习者阅读理解的影响(英文)

【摘要】上世纪60年代前,阅读理解被视为基于语音、词汇和语法知识基础上的消极被动的过程,然而60年代之后,图式理论的发展对阅读的教与学做出了重大的贡献。研究者表明图式理论适用于阅读理解,其中输入信息与读者大脑中的图式进行动态交互,因而背景知识尤为重要。内容熟悉程度是内容图式的一个关键要素,读者对文章内容即内容图式越熟悉,就越有可能在阅读过程中激活文章图式。然而另一方面,在第二语言学习中背景知识被广泛地忽略。笔者对中级英语学习者的实际英文阅读进行实证分析,表明内容熟悉程度(即内容图式)对阅读理解是有较大帮助的,应得到更为广泛的重视。

The subjects are 60 Grade2one English learners from Hong Hu No. 1 M iddle School, Hu Bei Province. Statistical results of the experiment show that the effects of content familiarity are salient in reading. A strong positive correlation is also found between degree and score, which means the two variables are highly correlated. Thus we can see the significance between content familiarity and the rate of correctness, the more familiar you are with the content, the better results you are expected to p roduce. The authormakes some analyses asso2 ciating the results of the experiment with some scholarly inferences and gives some suggestions on foreign language teaching.
